Marketing Basics for Consulting Startups

In this second episode of our marketing series on effective and low-budget marketing for your consulting startup, we cover two essential marketing strategies: cold calling and cold emailing.

Cold calling is not an easy endeavor. Sometimes you’ll be ghosted, hung up on, and possibly yelled at. Other times, though, you may reach someone on the other end of the line who desperately wants the service you are offering.

Cold emailing can come a lot easier for many people but still can be a powerful way to let others know about your business and land leads.

Combine cold calling and emailing (use discretion and don’t be annoying) to really get people’s attention and give your service a shot at resonating.
