The 4 forces that make or break your business
Welcome to the Dojo!
Most people think business success comes down to having the right idea. It doesn’t.
I’ve worked with hundreds of founders, and I see the same pattern over and over again.
People focus on the visible parts of business—branding, websites, tools—but ignore the forces that actually determine whether they succeed or fail.
I cover these forces in this week’s newsletter and in this video.

Let's Train
The 4 Forces That Make or Break Your Business
The first is mindset.
Entrepreneurship is about pursuing opportunity without resources. That means uncertainty, rejection, and constant adjustment. If you’re waiting to feel “ready,” you’ll never start.
The second is planning.
Not overplanning, not underplanning—balanced, iterative planning. Talk to real customers. Validate your idea. Then execute.
The third is partnerships.
The right co-founder multiplies your results. The wrong one drains your energy and slows everything down. This is not a decision to rush.
The fourth is life.
This one surprises people. Your business does not exist in isolation. Your time, your responsibilities, your personal situation—they all shape what’s possible. Ignoring this leads to frustration and burnout.
When these four forces are aligned, growth becomes possible. When they’re not, even the best ideas fail.

🛠️ What I Told Them
If you can consistently execute, sell, and improve week over week—then you’re ready. If not, focus on building those muscles first.
