Should I hire someone to help with sales or should I suck it up and continue doing the sales work myself?

This dilemma usually arises after a founder has tried to simultaneously run the business, sell, and deliver projects for some time.

It not only becomes exhausting but it also gets difficult to keep leads engaged enough to sign a deal.

In this video, I share 3 guidelines that will help you decide whether you should hire a salesperson or not:

  1. The first question regards budget.
  2. The second consideration relates to time: Are your sales activities impinging on project deliveries or business growth?
  3. The last consideration is about strength. Recognize what you excel at, what you struggle with, and if hiring a salesperson may help your business grow.
