I have met and advised an average of 1-2 founders per week for the past 10 years. That’s hundreds of founders and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Here’s the problem that comes up in a lot of these meetings: the person I’m speaking with gets into so much detail or talks about so many different things that I don’t really understand what they’re asking me.

My ability to help them is limited by their ability to summarize their situation and provide the necessary context, not less and not more.
